Our little "Staycation"... :)

Busy week does not start to describe this past week! Jason started his vacation
last Friday. So Friday we took Grant to paint pottery. He painted a piggy bank,
a tractor, a rhino, and a cross (for Meme June). He enjoy it so much he is
already talking about when he goes back what he wants to paint. ( Baby Eva
Claire a pink piggy bank) Then Monday we went to ChuckE Cheese per Grants
request. :) He says it's his favorite place. Tuesday was pretty quiet until that
night when we went to a Nashville Sounds baseball game. They had a fireworks
show after the game for the 4th. By the time the fireworks show started Grant
was exhausted. He was asleep in the car before we got on the interstate coming
home. Wednesday we went to the movies. We saw Madagascar. Grant did very well
for his first time going to the movies. Thursday was VERY HOT zoo day. Grant
loved it. He loved the "robot dinosaurs" (as he called them). Friday morning we
went to "the baby doctor" as Grant calls it for my weekly check up. More on that
later. Then we went bowling. He enjoyed the first 5/6 frames but then he was
done. He got his first strike (with a little help from daddy). Saturday was very
low key. We just stayed around the house relaxing. :)
